Service and general questions

Baggysitter offers a service that collects your bags wherever and whenever you want, stores them for the time you define, and delivers them to wherever and whenever you need.

After the booking process, we will check the availability of our drivers and after that you will receive a confirmation email with all the info you need on your service and pick up/drop off locations/storages.

Example 1: You booked pick up from the airport at morning and drop off to your hotel at checkin time. So you will leave your bags to our airport/station storage crew; your bags will be delivered to your hotel reception before the choosen drop off time. 

Example 2: You booked pick up from the your hotel at morning and drop off to the airport at evening. So you will leave your bags at your hotel reception; your bags will be delivered to our airport storage before the choosen drop off time.

Example 3: You booked pick up from your B&B at morning and drop off to the airport at evening. So one of our drivers will come over to pick up your bags at choosen time and location; you bags will be delivered to our airport storage before the choosen drop off time.

We raccomend to book in advance as availability is limited.

If you’ve booked a service from or to your B&B, one of our drivers will come to pick up or deliver your bags at the chosen time and location. The driver will contact you via WhatsApp or phone call 30 minutes before the scheduled time to make sure everything is on track. In any case, he/she will wait 30 minutes after the agreed time.

When you book, you will receive an email with your booking confirmation, with all the info to reach our storage points inside airport/station. So you can leave/collect your bags to/from the storage crew just by showing your confimation email and ID number.

Yes, we can definitely do that. When you are booking, just choose drop off time on a different day.
 

We raccomend to schedule luggage delivery times for:

  • Train/Bus: Schedule delivery at least 60 minutes before your boarding time.
  • Airport: Schedule delivery at least 90 minutes before your boarding time.

Delays in flights or internal Airport processes are common, and good communication is vital to avoid inconveniences.

In the event of a schedule change before flight departure, this information must be communicated to our team in order to ensure timely readjustment of the service time. The same applies in situations where internal Airport processes are exceeding the above-mentioned times.

In the event of a flight-train-bus delay or internal airport delays, no late fee will be charged if you informed the service team on time, though it may result in the service being rescheduled.

In the event of a delay that has not been communicated in advance , Baggysitter reserves the right to leave the location after a 30-minute waiting period and will retain the service value.

The price depend on three factors:

1) Luggage pick up – drop off locations

2) Storage time

3) Bags number and size

You can check it by using on our web app. It is common in certain periods of the year we offer discounts, so please be sure to exploit them!

Safety and Assurance questions

Every luggage is secured and identified by using QR code and strip band. During the pick up, a tracking device is connected to the bags; during the storage time your luggage is secured in our storage. During the delivery, we send notifications on tracked position. At drop off, the tracking device is disconnected so you will be notified the bags are ready for you.

Every bag is insured for up to €250 against theft, loss, damage, or delivery delay. If a delay is our responsibility, our global logistics partner ensures your bags are delivered anywhere in the world at our expense. If a delay is your responsability, we can deliver your bags back anyway at your expense.

Baggysitter service and costumer service ara available everyday from 8:30 AM to 7:00 PM.

Write at least 1 hour before your scheduled time to our whatsapp number with the desired new timings and reply to the confirmation email and we will find the way to respond to your request, changing our timetables.

Yes, if you cancel a service 1 day or more before the pickup time you will be totally refunded.

Baggysitter accepts luggage which is divided into 3 categories:

  • Small luggage: small backpacks or carry-on bags [55 x 40 x 20 cm]
  • Large luggage: checked luggage [85 x 55 x 35 cm]
  • Out of Format luggage: items that do not fit into the small or large categories, such as sports equipment, musical instruments, or others [200 x 100 x 60 cm]

When booking the service, you’ll need to specify the quantity and type of luggage you have.

We cannot collect one bag heavier than 35 kg.

  • Number and type of bags
  • Personal details (name; email; phone number)

Baggysitter offer also a service of luggage transport between different cities or countries wherever and whenever you want, prior to availability.

The provision of services between cities or countries will involve the allocation of a dedicated vehicle.

The service cost is primarily based on the distance traveled and the time involved in transportation.

It’s not possible to complete the payment of this type of service through our web app. To check availability and get a quote, follow our web app steps or send an email to infocontact@baggysitter.com with the following details:

It depend on distances. For example, we can cover a sameday route from Milan to Rome but obviously we cannot do the same for a Milan to Amsterdam route.

Depending on drop off city and drop off day, you will receive the right quotation.

City to City service is active from Milan to Europe, but we are expanding our active cities and we are more than happy to evaluate any special request.
